The local museum in the small town of Anadyr in Russia’s Chukotka region has got hold of something museums in Moscow and St Petersburg would be proud to display: objects from one of the first Russian ice-breakers. It sank more than 70 years ago.

The Crew goes to Camp Powhatan, part of the Blue Ridge Scout Reservation located in Pulaski County, VA and participates in the high adventure program called New River Adventure. In this part of our video we participate in COPE activities in the beginning we start off with ice breakers and trust games. Then we move onto low COPE but there aren’t any pictures of that in here for some reason.

Low COPE involves using teamwork to solve problems, and the activities are close to the ground. One of them involves getting your group over a 12 ft wall…that by the way is the highest low element. The others are mostly 2 ft off the ground at the most and involve walking on steel cables.

Then you have the high elements. Which involves climbing. They have a climbing and rappelling tower. Then they have the COPE challenge which links a bunch of the high ropes activities into a chain. They have a zip line too, still gotta climb to zip though.
